Our Goals

Selling some merchandise is of course one of our goals but in addition to that we would like to publicize some deserving people and/or organizations. Each month we will attempt to feature some art, charitable or cultural person or organization in a periodic newsletter. We don't want to tied down to a monthly schedule.

We will welcome suggestions from you and you can contact us at listmanager@peggyjostudio.com.

Some of you are on the Sailing Singles and/or the Somerset Singles mailing list. We selected from that list, only people that we know personally. We hope you are not offended and if you would like to be left off these commercial lists, contact us by email at peggyjo@peggyjostudio and we will change the distribution list or use the update your profile feature on the bottom of this page. Please don't unsubscribe because we will not be able to put you back on any list.

For those people who do not want to be on any list, use the unsubscribe feature found at the bottom of this page.

Greetings!

I am sending you this letter to Introduce you to our website. I say our because it also features my son Charley, the singing hot dog man at the Detroit Tigers Comerica Park.

We do have a store called the Emporium to feature not only our products but we will be featuring products from our friends and colleagues.

Tigers Finish Their Season
The Detroit Tigers finished their disasterous 2003 season by avoiding infamy. They won 5 of their 6 last games to avoid the dreaded 121 games lost. In fact they avoided tying the worst record as well as not breaking it..

Carl Kudla, of St. Clair Shores, organanized a T-shirt campaign which featured the words "No Way" and the number 121 with the no symbol superimposed. He says that he supplied shirts to some of the Tigers who wore them under their uniforms. He also organized fans behind home plate to chant "No WAy 121" during the game and to start waves.

If you look closely at the picture you can see that Carl revised his chant for the last game of the season to read 120. Some of these Tshirts are still available and can be purchased in the Emporium.

A Card for all seasons

After the terrible attack on September 11, I was inspired to design the Angel found on the home page. I had some cards printed and they along with envelopes are available for purchase in the Emporium.

I am hoping to use this same design to have pins, cuff links, earrings, Christmas tree ornaments and whatever. There are also some T-shirts available with the Angel.

Adopt-A-Child for Christmas

Each year the Adopt-A-Child Christmas Party for needy kids fills a room at Cobo Center with thousands of children of all races and religions screaming and ripping open presents, squeezing each other and swapping smiles.

While the adoptions are temporary, lasting only for the day of the party, the happiness experienced by those who give and those who receive lasts a lifetime.

To realize this years goals, scores of adopting parents are needed. If you would like to sponsor a child, or for more information about the program, please call Ms. Bennett at 313-871-7529 or Johnnie Lou Hunter at 313- 368-4682.
