The McCormick & Schmick Seafood Restaurant features some great Appetizer items during the Happy Hour. It is on the site of the former Houlihan's behind the Sax store in the Somerset Collection just south of Big Beaver on Coolidge.

Nancy Curnow is an active member of Sailing Singles and in addition to her artistic talents, she is often called upon by skippers of Sailing Singles, to go up the masts because of her comfort with heights and her light weight.

Nancy and Paula Wild have been held over by popular demand until the end of November.

Commodore Marlene Solomon and Richard Hooper were the guests of The Port Huron Yacht Club at their Commodores Ball held at the St. Clair Inn on Saturday, October 23, 2004. Richard Hooper said that the members of PHYC are looking for racing crew members. They are willing to train any able bodied candidates.

A prize will be awarded to the best answer.

Barbara Clarke and Pat Setter will be hosting a wine and cheese tasting party where attendees will be sampling unique wines from a unique company- PRP Wine International

The company proudly presents top quality and unique wines from all over the United States and Europe. Sailing Singles member Art Talbot will provide us with detailed information on each wine.

It will be held at Wagon Wheel Saloon on the southeast Corner of Big Beaver and Rochester Road on Wednesday, November 3, 2004 starting at 6:00 pm and lasting to 8:00 pm.

The cost for members is $10.00 and $15.00 for guests. With the cost of admission attenees will be entered in a drawing for a fine wine compliments of PRP Wine International

Rich Armstrong will present the do's and don't of EBay'ing. He has found it to be a very useful tool for shopping and cleaning out the attic.
