Dear friends,
I send my technical editor quotes and Psalms in advance for the newsletter. Therefore, some times I forget what I sent until I review the newsletter on Sundays. Well, when reviewing the newsletter for this week, I was really, really touched by the Psalm below. It's the anniversary of my mom passing away and I have been brokenhearted. Sooo I was very touched to receive the message. I hope the various quotes and Psalms touch your spirit as well. "The LORD is close to the
brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit." Emails from our
readers.
Dear Peggy Jo, Why is it that every thing happens on the east side. V.C. Dear V.C. , As far as we know there are plenty of events publicized in this newsletter for both the east side and the west side. We even have events for Ann Arbor and Toledo as well as Windsor. Perhaps you are referring to events for a particular organization. In that case your question should be addressed to the officers of that organization. This newsletter is produces independently of any organization and we depend upon those organizations to supply us with the information. We do reach over 6,800 people each week via email.
Dear Peggy Jo, According to an article in the Troy-Somerset gazette, pretzels were invented by monks in southern europe to be given to children as a reward for remembering their prayers. The crossed inner part of the pretzel represented the the children's hands while praying. M. Dear M, Thank you for the tidbit of information Peggy Jo.
