"
All my longings lie open before you, O Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you." Clint Eastwood in "Dirty Harry"This link will take you to an excerpt from the movie "Dirty Harry". If you have a slow connection struggle through watching it the first time then play it again. The file should be saved on your PC and the clip will play much better. Pay special attention the last philisophical words that "Dirty Harry" (Clint Eastwood ) speaks and remember them the next time you are about to consume a hot dog. Other Hollywood Stars in the area.Clint Eastwood is filming a movie in Grosse Pointe and Royal Oak so you might see him somewhere in the area. Goldie Hawn is scouting Detroit locations and Drew Barrymore is filming in Ann Arbor this summer. Jeff Spilman is a Detroit native who moved to L.A. to launch the entertainment company S3EG. Now years later he finds himself home, taking over a building in Ferndale. Spilman says he knows what the big studios need and it's not here yet, so he's transforming a space in Ferndale to make the Hollywood elite feel comfortable. We observed a crew that spent some time in Royal Oak shooting scenes for a TV movie .
At the question and answer period, after the movie lead by Gordon Michaels, it was evident, due to the content of the questions that were posed , that the capacity crowd in the DIA auditorioum was made of people from the Detroit area who were working in the film industry or at were least familiar with film production. Got Mustard Campaign
"Be there, or be square" is one of Barbara's expressions. She is our fifth volunteer for the "Got Mustard ???" campaign that features famous people that you might know. They might not have been famous until they appeared on the internet in this campaign. There is a special web page called "Got Mustard ???" that shows all of the 193 volunteers.(At publication time, we still have photos that have not been processed) If you haven't visited the "Got Mustard Gallery" click on the large word 'here' below. If you have, visit it again because we are adding new faces all the time. Take some time to view the show and if you see someone you know, call them and tell them that they are famous. You can view that show at http://www.peggyjostudio.com/gotmustard/gotmustard.php or you can try clicking here. If that doesn't’t work, try a right click and select "open in a separate tab" from the drop down list. If all else fails enter the address www.peggyjostudio.com/gotmustard/gotmustard.php in your browser address box. The slide show changes from day to day as we add new people to the list. The show has sound, so keep your speakers turned on! In the next issue we will feature one of the other volunteers, selected at random.. If you would like to join the fun, send your electronic photo to webmaster@peggyjostudio.com (.jpg is preferred. ) We will supply the mustard.
E-Mails from our ReadersDear Peggy Jo, Please inform your readers. January 17 - 24 2009: St Martin, St Bart, St Kitts, Nevis Sailing trip As we approach the mid-way point in the 2008 Lake St Clair sailing season, now is the perfect time to reserve your spot and extend the Sailing season through January 2009. A 41 foot catamaran has been reserved for exploring the leeward Islands ranging from St Marteen to Nevis. I am looking to fill at least one double cabin and have openings for up to two singles. The estimated price for this trip based upon mid-July air fare is about $1500 including basic provisioning. For more information please visit the attached web sites or call me. I placed a deposit on a boat this past February and am looking for additional experienced hands to fill a trip as described below. The trip is intended to run at no profit but may also be run at a slight personal loss.
