This is still getting many people to click each week so we are keeping it in. Let us know if you think it is worthwhile.
Dear Peggy Jo,
Our Genisis server is up and running. However, it is under a DDOS (denial of service) attack.
Our current NOC does not (surprisingly) offer anti-ddos protection. In view of this, and the fact that they have moved our servers twice within the past few months, we are re-locating to a larger, more reliable location as soon as the server is accessible.
We pride ourselves over stability and reliability over a 10+ year history. This situation is unacceptable, and we are taking measures to prevent any such occurrence in the future.
The new server has double the RAM, and offers Daily backups instead of only weekly backups as well.
Our most sincere apologies, and appreciation for your continued support.
